GIVE
Your Gift, Their Success
At LSU, we build teams that win by unlocking the boundless potential of our students. The 153 hours they spend outside the classroom each week prepare them to excel both academically and beyond.
With a host of opportunities from leadership programs to internships, and engaging in Greek life, student government, and wellness activities, the LSU Division of Student Affairs crafts each experience to ensure student success. But to create these winning teams, we need your support.
Your gift to any of the funds below meets students' immediate needs, keeps them on track for graduation, and positively influences the trajectory of their lives. Thank you!
Student Emergency Support Fund
Your gift removes barriers to student persistence.
For many students, this fund is the difference between staying enrolled at LSU and being forced to step away. Unexpected crises—illness, natural disasters, or family emergencies—can put even the most determined students at risk of losing the opportunities they’ve worked hard to achieve. As we prepare students to lead and contribute to Louisiana and beyond, the Emergency Support Fund (ESF) provides immediate assistance to those facing sudden hardships. Applications have surged by over 15,000% in recent years, underscoring the growing need.

Lagniappe Internship Fund
Close the equity gap to career success.
A student’s financial means shouldn’t limit their career potential. The Lagniappe Internship Fund helps students offset costs so they can accept unpaid or out-of-state internships– opportunities essential for building experience and launching careers. Demand is skyrocketing, with over 50% of applicants reporting they couldn’t participate without this support.
Collegiate Recovery Program
Bryan G. Dawson Memorial Recovery Program Fund
Support student resilience.
At LSU, recovery must not be a barrier to education or success. With over 3,000 students potentially affected by substance abuse disorders, the Collegiate Recovery Program provides critical support and a path to sustained recovery. Established in 2022 in memory of Bryan Dawson, the Collegiate Recovery Program at LSU reinforces students' decisions to engage in recovery and become successful graduates and engaged citizens. Your gift helps to expand services– offering community, scholarships, and education to students in recovery. Help us ensure all students find a supportive community where they can thrive academically, professionally, and personally.
