Jeremie Brown
Manager - Data Processing/Computer Services 2
As a member of the Residential Life ISS team, I find purpose in maintaining the digital infrastructure that empowers the Halls. Here are some reasons why I do this work:
Problem Solving: IT work is like solving puzzles. I enjoy troubleshooting issues, identifying root causes, and implementing solutions.
Continuous Learning: Technology evolves rapidly, and staying up to date is essential. I thrive on learning about new tools, security practices, and emerging trends.
Impact: IT directly impacts productivity, efficiency, and security. Knowing that my work contributes to a smooth operation motivates me.
Collaboration: IT involves working with diverse teams—developers, end-users, management. Building relationships and collaborating to achieve common goals is rewarding.
Security: Protecting data and systems from threats is crucial. Being a gatekeeper against cyberattacks gives me a sense of responsibility.
"I am very passionate about helping young people develop into responsible adults." -Jeremie
