Each LSU study abroad program is unique; different programs have different deadlines, depending on the timing of the program and different eligibility requirements. Some programs may be for students in particular classes, while others are open to all LSU students. Academic Success

The primary goal of study abroad is to support your degree program with unique, global learning opportunities. To do this, our study abroad advisors will help you select programs that transfer to your LSU degree program, so you can maintain your enrollment at LSU while participating in a global experience.

Funding

Studying abroad can be more affordable than you think. Many study abroad programs are the same or similar cost as the cost of attendance at LSU, and you may be able to use your existing financial aid, including TOPS. Scholarships and grants may be available to help with any extra costs.
